DraftSeason has put together it’s first ever Blogger Mock Draft consisting of some of the top bloggers on the web. Each blogger represents an NFL team and brings with him the insight and knowledge to draft the best player available for their team. Along with each pick comes a quick analysis and reasoning of why.
Hope to have another Blogger Mock in April once Free Agency cools down a bit. Feast your eyes on the full 1 Round 2013 NFL Mock Draft.
1. Chiefs (KCChiefsDraft.com)
Pick: Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
Analysis: With the Chiefs likely giving up a 2nd round pick this year for Alex Smith (with a possible one next year too), that means they’re committed to him for the long term. That means there’s no way this pick could be a QB if that’s true. So the Chiefs go the safe route and pick the can’t miss prospect in Luke Joeckel, even though they could have a solid left tackle on the roster (Branden Albert).
