Lions 2013 NFL Draft Team Needs

Detroit Lions Team Needs

Quick look at the Lions top needs heading into the NFL Draft (pre-free agency).

1. Defensive End
Cliff Avril and KVB are going to be missing from the 2013 roster and the Lions need depth and talent on the defensive line to make up for the inconsistencies in the back-four.

2. Cornerback
You need three starting quality corners in the AFC North and the Lions may not even have one.

3. Tight End
Pettigrew has had a classic “Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane” career and he leaves a lot to be desired. If the Lions could grab Zach Ertz or Tyler Eifert in round two along with Milliner or Werner in round one that would be a great start to their draft.
